At Fashions from the Head we make exclusive doll clothes that have been styled with just children in mind. Each design will bring a smile to a young child's face.

The 18" doll will take on a new and exclusive character to the child's playroom and each child's mind. Dressing the doll up and dressing the doll down will not only be a play experience, but also a "how do I dress" teaching experience. Color and style will bring many smiles to each little girl's face.

About Me

My name is Rosalea. I am a retired NY State Registered Nurse. I reside in the city of Hudson, NY.

I taught myself to sew in 1965. Throughout the following years I made outfits and holiday outfits for my daughter, my nieces and my son. I created different patterns, altered patterns, and created many different style patterns of my own. I came to realize that sewing was more than a hobby. It was enjoyment, relaxation, and an exploration of my mind. Imagination took hold.

Imagination, originality and my zest for sewing turned into what I consider an unusual art form. In 1996 I began designing clothes for dolls. Each outfit is an original design. There are no two outfits alike. Each outfit has a personality of its own.

In my craft room, I design, pattern, cutout, machine embroider, machine sew and hand sew all of the the doll outfits. Dresses and suits are then adorned with fancy embellishments where necessary. I can also assisit with your own custom designs.
